For the same qualification, you may have the option to do multiple exam boards. When applying to do exams with us, you should select the exam board that you have studied/wish to study as they will differ in subject content and exam format. However, in terms of outcome, there is no difference between the exam boards; for example, an A-level Biology qualification from AQA is equivalent to an A-level Biology qualification from Edexcel or OCR etc.
For many subjects, this generally means that there is no change in the application process but it does mean you will study and familiarise yourself with a different curriculum which may be different to the one you previously studied. However, some subjects such as the sciences require additional administrative processes therefore we recommend getting In touch with us.
It is a process when a retake student for one of the sciences wishes to change from one exam board to another but does not want to repeat all of the practicals. Therefore, a Transfer of Credit is sought so that they may keep their practical endorsement with the new exam board without having to repeat all of the practicals.

The summer exam series is available for all students and all subjects/exam boards. The November exam series however is more restricted. All exam boards offer GCSE Mathematics and GCSE English Language but this is only for students retaking the examination or who are over the age of 16, Pearson International offer all international GCSEs and Cambridge offers all examinations in the November period.
We have safety protocols in place and in any case, we will ensure and prioritise the safety of our students over the exam. Depending on the nature of the emergency we will have mitigations in place to prevent any detrimental effect on your results to the best of our ability.
If you have a clash with regards to your exam, they will have to take place on the same day but when possible, we will try and sit you for one exam in the morning and one in the afternoon. If that is not feasible, you will have to sit the exams consecutively but we will ensure that you have time to take a sufficient break.
We advise students to arrive as early as possible to avoid any potential delays. We would expect all students to, at the latest, arrive at their centre 25 minutes before the exam.
A range of support may be available to you during the exam however we would need to submit a valid doctor’s note and/or alternative evidence to see specifically what support you may be eligible for.
Yes, you are still able to complete your exams but we ask students to inform us of any medical conditions/potential medical complications so that we can make the correct adjustments to your exam setting so that you can complete your exams to your best ability. We may need some form of documentation to apply for further support if needed.
Examination boards require evidence of your Access Arrangements in practice therefore, we need a mock exam to demonstrate the use of these arrangements and their suitability.
Candidates with neuromuscular issues are eligible for a range of support such as utilisation of a computer or a scribe amongst other available resources so that your performance in the exam is not impaired in any way. However, we do need to submit documentation confirming your condition so we suggest discussing this with us in advance.
Yes, as this is a medical exception, you are permitted to bring glucose tablets or a glucose drink in transparent, unlabelled containers. If you need further support, you can discuss this with us and we will be happy to help.
We reserve private rooms for students whose circumstances necessitate it (e.g. students with an exceptional medical condition or those who may have a scribe etc.), this is not the case for the vast majority of students.

We believe that face-to-face tuition is best to maintain a healthy rapport between teachers and students alike but we can arrange for online tuition if needed.
We require that all of our tutors have a current enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check so that they are eligible to work with our students as well as assessing their aptitude and academic credentials.
