At Excellent Academy, we are pleased to say that we also offer both Level 1 and Level 2 Functional Skills alongside our numerous other qualifications. A functional skills qualification in English or Mathematics is an excellent supplementary course or even an alternative to the GCSEs exams. This is excellent for learners who find it easier to learn using practical, real-life examples. As a functional skills qualification is equivalent to passing the respective GCSE, it can be an excellent gateway to higher education, apprenticeships or training courses.
